You’ve noticed something. Now what?

Maybe your client is restricting more and more foods to “heal” their gut.
Maybe they’re terrified of carbs because of PMOS, insulin resistance or weight gain.
Or they’re trying to eat “clean” and stay within their calories all day, then bingeing at night.
Maybe they’re weighing themselves constantly, talking about being “good” or “bad” depending on what they’ve eaten, or their body dissatisfaction is starting to drive more and more of their health behaviours.

And somewhere in the consult, you find yourself thinking...

Shit. I think there might be some disordered eating going on here.

Recognising that is one thing. Knowing what to actually do next - without ignoring it, making things worse, or wandering outside your scope - is quite another.

You don’t have to solve everything in one appointment.

Noticing possible disordered eating can bring up a lot of uncertainty - especially if this isn’t "your area".

The aim of this training isn’t to turn you into an eating disorder clinician overnight. It’s to help you feel clearer about what your role is, what you can safely support, what needs further assessment, and when it’s time to bring other practitioners into the picture.

Who this Training is for

This training is for you if:

  • you’re a naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist or other natural health practitioner
  • you’ve noticed possible disordered eating in clinic but felt unsure what to do next
  • you want to feel more confident raising concerns with clients
  • you’re unsure where your scope ends and referral or collaborative care begins
  • you want a practical framework rather than another list of red flags

This session is designed for practitioners committed to nuanced, client-centred, scope-aware practice.
This training is not for you if:

  • You are primarily focused on weight-loss optimisation.
  • You believe eating disorders are rare in natural health settings or only present at extreme clinical levels.
  • You are looking for quick behavioural “fixes” without examining scope, safety, or ethical impact.

About Casey

Casey Conroy is a naturopath, Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), and Certified Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC-D) specialising in disordered eating and weight-neutral care.

She works clinically with clients navigating chronic dieting, metabolic conditions, and eating disorders - and trains natural health practitioners in ethical, scope-safe practice.

After years in practice, Casey recognised a critical gap:
Natural health practitioners are often taught to identify red flags, but not how to navigate the complex grey areas between “just dieting” and diagnosable eating disorders.

Her work focuses on:
  • Protecting clients from unintended harm
  • Helping practitioners practise within scope without abandoning care
  • Bridging naturopathic principles with trauma-informed, evidence-based frameworks

This clinical training draws directly from the framework behind her practitioner program, designed to help natural health clinicians move from uncertainty to structured confidence.
