We don’t need more protocols.
We need more embodiment.


After a decade of sitting with people in the trenches of disordered eating, chronic dieting, burnout, shame, rigidity, and overwhelm - and another decade sitting with plants, bodies, breath, and the nervous system - something in me has shifted.

People don’t heal because they collect more rules.
They heal when they come back home to their bodies.
To land.
To breath.
To sensation.
To relationship.
To themselves.

Body As Earth Retreats are my way of bringing this work down to earth. They are a slow, contemplative weaving of everything I’ve been quietly building for years:

  • weight-inclusive naturopathy and dietetics
  • disordered eating-informed care
  • trauma-aware herbalism
  • nervous system literacy
  • embodied, breath-led yoga
  • Yin-inspired stillness
  • animist plant contemplations
  • harm-reduction-informed integration perspectives
    (all completely non-psychedelic in practice - grounded, safe, slow)

Who this is for
This is for anyone tired of being “good.”
Tired of performing wellness.
Tired of trying to optimise, upgrade, detox, fix, biohack (ugh!)
Tired of being a brain dragging a body around.
Tired of forgetting that they are nature.


And it’s for practitioners - naturopaths, herbalists, nutritionists, dietitians, yoga teachers and yogis - who want to work in a way that is present, relational, regulated, and not just a stack of treatment plans and supplements.

What do these retreats actually feel like?
Think less: “yoga class.”
Think more: “my body exhaled for the first time in years.”

Practices drawn from my background in:
  • Hatha (slow, steady, anchored)
  • Vinyasa (gentle, intuitive, breath-led, not performative)
  • Pre/Postnatal yoga (nervous-system centred, tender, supportive)
  • Acroyoga foundations (consent-based connection, relationality, play, supported shapes)
  • and emerging Yin-inspired work (long holds, floor-based stillness, surrender, softening, interoception)

All filtered through:
  • weight-inclusive care
  • trauma literacy
  • an animist worldview
  • a non-performative, non-diet, non-puritanical approach to practice
  • the belief that your body is wise, not a problem to solve.

This is the kind of movement and stillness that helps you feel like you again.
Feel safe, or safer.
Feel present.
Feel held.
Feel like you can come back into your skin without bracing.

Also woven through:
  • herbal rituals
  • nervous system tinctures + plant allies
  • plant-spirit contemplations (non-ingestive, grounded, symbolic)
  • somatic inquiry
  • gentle breathwork
  • nature-based grounding
  • archetypal + mythic storytelling
  • slow ceremony
  • integration for big life experiences
  • conversations about body, land, culture, and belonging
  • community that doesn’t demand you be “fixed” or “good”

Please note, these retreats are not psychedelic retreats. But the way we move, breathe, rest, sense, listen, root, and relate… it all sits in that same lineage of slowing down and meeting reality with reverence and courage.

Why I’m creating this
Because I’ve watched too many brilliant practitioners burn out trying to be perfect (putting my hand up here!).
Too many clients crushed under the weight of protocols and purity culture.
Too many bodies treated like projects.
Too many humans trying to “think” their way into healing.

We don’t need more rules.
We need relationship.
We need land.
We need breath.
We need slowness.
We need people who can sit with us without trying to fix us.
We need fewer protocols.
More embodiment.
More nuance.
And more just being human!
