Casey’s Teaching: A force of calm and serenity, positive energy and quiet encouragement.
Casey’s warm and friendly welcome and introduction to each class sets the tone for the next hour or two of mental focus, gentle stretching, dynamic sequences and quiet contemplation.
I found the structure of her classes just perfect, the most balanced pace and tone that I’ve ever experienced. In each lesson, Casey encourages you to experiment with a variety of postures, shows how to use different props, whilst always sharing options for all levels and abilities. It makes her classes so stimulating, you’re constantly learning; challenging body & mind.
Prior to the more dynamic postures she demonstrates, Casey will talk through each posture in advance, giving clear and useful explanations of the holistic benefits. I defy you not to be affected by her inspirational teaching style. Casey exudes happiness, is supportive, and always smiling – even when upside down – encouraging and instilling confidence in you, to just try, play, and have fun with yoga.
Casey’s meditation/relaxation period has to be the most calming, peaceful post- yoga rest I have ever experienced. The location & surroundings of the tropical island where we practised also helped. But even without these delights, Casey’s intuition & awareness in setting the scene and tone for the end of each class was spot on. With a gentle touch on the head she would offer you the use of eye bags to aid your meditation – talk you through release of letting go of all the muscles worked, gently remind you to ‘notice and observe but not judge’ your breathing. If you are open to it, you will drift into the most wonderful meditative space, where you will remain until you hear the soft clink of chimes as she quietly alerts you back to the room, to prepare for the end of the class.
Casey lives, eats & breathes the true ethos of yoga. For me, experiencing her teaching was such a special and memorable experience – mental and spiritual. It left me feeling invigorated, at peace, happier, more open and truly, truly inspired. If you are lucky enough to be in a position of living anywhere near to where she offers yoga classes then I would say you need never search for another yoga teacher again. I only wish I could clone her, so I could continue to benefit from her teaching, here in the UK!

Having experienced many different Yoga teachers on my travels I must say that Casey is the best so far. She is committed to developing individuals yoga practice at a level which is both comfortable and challenging.
In my private lessons with Casey I never once felt that I was being asked to do things that were beyond my capability, nor did I feel like she was ‘going easy on me’. Her understanding of the human body and its movement is communicated in a serene way that doesn’t offend or undermine. Lessons with Casey are an amazingly positive experience from beginning to end.
