What is AcroYoga?
AcroYoga blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of healing arts. These three lineages form the foundation of a practice that cultivates trust, playfulness, and community.
As weird as this combo sounds, it is a wonderful recipe for rejuvenation, play and connection. All three elements balance truly each other out.
AcroYoga has 3 main elements:

AcroYoga has 3 main elements:
- Solar Acrobatic Practices that cultivate trust, empowerment and joy. The solar elements are strength building, inversions with spotting, and partner acrobatics
- Lunar Healing Arts Practices that cultivate listening, loving and letting go. The Lunar Therapeutic Practice includes massage, therapeutic flying and partner yoga
- Yogic Practices that cultivate breathe awareness, life balance and connection. Yoga is the glue between the Solar and the Lunar Practices. It is a Physical Practice as well as a life philosophy that is honed through postures, breathing exercises, mantras, etc.

AcroYoga is for EVery Body
You need not be a master gymnast, circus acrobat, pole dancer, or seasoned yogi to enjoy AcroYoga. Can’t do a handstand, or even touch your toes? No big deal. Worried you're not strong enough to hold up someone's weight, or too large-bodied to try something like this? Nope, size matters not. Technique is more important than strength, and you will learn all the tools you need to do things you never thought possible with the body you have right now.
Do I need a partner?
Flying solo? No worries - you’ll find someone to fly with once when you arrive! While you are welcome to train with a dedicated partner, you can actually learn a lot more by mixing things up and practising with new people. This partner-based practice develops your skills to work with a wide variety of people - no matter the personality, shape, size, or skill.
In some cases for ease of learning, you will be matched with someone of similar height.

"AcroYoga is a way adults can give themselves permission to play again. We often find ourselves heavy with the stuff of the everyday - this practice is a doorway to lighten up, free our bodies and liberate our minds."
