Smoothies make a delicious fast lunch or mid-morning snack. Enjoying a green smoothie mid-morning is like injecting rocket fuel into your body, and a far better alternative to mid-morning cookies! In my opinion, green smoothies are one of the easiest, cheapest and most efficient ways to increase the volume of green leafy vegetables in your diet.

We all know greens are good for us but not everyone has the time or desire to sit down and eat a head of lettuce or a big bunch of silverbeet!
Blending greens with fruit creates an easily-digestible meal that is delicious.

Kids love smoothies! Swap the types of greens around daily so you don’t overload on any one in particular, and so you can reap the benefits of many different kinds of leafy green plants.
