This highly recognisable mushroom may bring to mind whimsical images from childhood fairytales, yet today it’s often feared as deadly by those unfamiliar with her deeper healing potential. To dispel this myth: Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria), unlike some in her genus, is not deadly when prepared properly. Still, this storybook toadstool commands deep respect and understanding.

How was it crafted? Like so many I've long been enamoured by this mushroom! I revered and artistically recreated this mushroom for well over a decade before ever finding it growing in the wild. When I finally did meet her, I first spent some time communicating and dreaming with the spirit of the mushroom. I captured the light and reflection of the mushroom into the water under a darkening Aquarius moon on the edge of a New Zealand pine forest. I let the fae who dance around it do the work of popping the essence into the water! I have also spent some months personally working with the essence so that I am familiar with its effects and applications.
Due to the legal status of this fungi in Australia, this essence required extensive preparation and careful international transport. This, and the fact I have limited mother essence, is reflected in its higher price compared to my other essences.
Suggested use: Take 2-4 drops before bed to encourage profound dreams. Be sure to set aside at least 5 minutes in the morning to journal on waking as these dreams will likely require integration.
